Frodl wins bronze for Czech

The bronze medal game was largely Swedish control, but one thing stood in the way of a Swedish bronze medal; the Czech goalie Dominik Frodl.

OT loss in the semi

Everyone predicted the Finland v Sweden semifinal to be an all-time classic and how right they were! We had power plays, controversial calls, insane goals, both teams taking turns to lead and it all ended dramatically in overtime as the Finnish veteran of 15 world champs Sami Markkanen one-timed the perfect storm of a clapper into the Swedish net.

Ready for Rematch!

Preparations for this evening's emotionally charged rematch against Finland are well underway in Bratislava as Team Sweden has an opportunity to reclaim the bragging rights between the two neighbours.

Team Sweden named

We're proud to announce the Team Sweden roster for the 2017 IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship. The team will travel to Slovakia on Saturday and our first game is against the Czech Republic on Sunday evening at 8pm local time.

Tough loss to Lillebror

The Finland game was always going to be the game of the preliminary round. The two mammoth hockey countries from the top of the world going at it. Nothing short of a Goliath vs Goliath battle between the two fiercest hockey rivals in the world and the game did not disappoint.
